Who are We?

We are My Computer Guru. We are dedicated to bringing computer education and technical support to consumers & businesses at reasonable prices. 

Company founders Brian and Valerie Gugala have been involved in computer training and consulting for over 5 years. They have developed classes for park districts, libraries, and colleges, including Bartlett, Hanover Park, and Elgin Community College. Brian has 10+ years experience in the software industry, while Valerie is an accomplished public speaker and actress. They have helped 100's of people and businesses of all levels with their computer problems and needs.

We can help you with all your computer needs at your home or office:

• Designing and installing an office or home network

• DSL or Cable internet access setup for one or 100 computers

• Troubleshooting problems

• Installing hardware, software and the toys (scanner, digital camera, printer, MP3 player, etc)

My Computer Guru provides training on the using the computer and on the most used software products such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Acces. Etc. We provide classes at many Chicago area Park Districts and Community Colleges. 

We can provide training on any computer related subject at any location in the Chicago area.  We provide a portable training lab including all the computers, printers, and equipments.  Call us to talk about a total training package that can be customized to your need.  Here is just a small list of software we instruct. 

We can create customized training on industry specific software or standard off the shelf software.  One day or multiple day training can be arranged depending on your needs.  Just give us a call and we can create a training solution that will meet your needs. 

We also offer 2 hour computer seminars on a variety of topics. These seminars do not require a computer lab, so they can be scheduled as a "lead-in" or can be stand alone classes to introduce our programs to you and your community without the computer lab. 

We are constantly developing new classes as software and hardware changes, and as we find demand for a particular subject. If a topic is not in our catalog, ask us, we just might have a class in the works!
